Palm Organizer Customers Get Free Wireless Information Services from OmniBrowse, Inc.

BELLEVUE, Wash. — May 3, 1999 — Sports, Stock Quotes, Weather and News Delivered to Palm Computing Platform Through Pagemart's Nationwide Wireless Network

OmniBrowse, Inc. announced today the first release of OmniBrowse for the Palm Computing Platform. The application dramatically extends the usability and functionality of the company's existing news, weather, sports scores, stock quotes, horoscopes, lottery results and reminder alert services. The program is for users of the Synapse(tm) Pager Card from PageMart, a replacement memory card that adds paging capability to Palm Organizers. PageMart and OmniBrowse will jointly market the information services product and make it available to new and existing PageMart Synapse Pager Card customers at no charge. When the Synapse Pager Card is added to a Palm(tm) Organizer, it becomes an alphanumeric pager capable of receiving OmniBrowse information services. With the new OmniBrowse application installed on the device, these services become even more powerful. Some features include:

— Easy-to-read display and categorized presentation of information services.

— Browseable history of past messages received.

— Configurable alerts (i.e. beep on weather warnings, but not forecasts.)

— Compatibility with the existing PageMart paging application.

"OmniBrowse has developed a powerful application that leverages the capabilities of the Synapse Pager Card and provides exciting new features for our customers," said Donna Regenbaum, vice president of marketing at PageMart. "This solution is a valuable addition to the pager card, and we expect it will be enthusiastically received." OmniBrowse for the Palm Computing Platform is available for immediate download from the company's web site (www.omnibrowse.com) at no charge. A basic information services account from OmniBrowse is free and includes the stock, weather, lottery, and reminder services that apply toward a customer's monthly message count. Premium accounts add enhanced stock and local weather services, 16 news categories, live sports scores and horoscopes for US$ 9.95 per month. Six-month and 12-month terms cost US$ 49.95 and US$ 89.95 respectively.
