Mobile Insights Announces Call for Nominations for Eighth Annual Mobility Awards
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — October 24, 2001 — Mobile Insights, Inc., the leading information source for the mobile computing and data communications markets, announced it is now taking nominations for the Year 2002 Mobility Awards. The Mobility Awards recognize the best products and services introduced in the year 2001 in the areas of mobile computing, data communications, and wireless. The awards will be presented during the eighth annual Mobile Insights conference for leaders in the mobile computing and data communications industry. The venue for the conference, to be held February 24 through 26, 2002, is the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix.

Nominations for the Mobility Awards are to be submitted directly on the Web via http://www.mobileinsights.com/mi2002awards.html . Once the ballot is finalized, it will be distributed to the Mobility Awards Committee, who will cast their votes for this year's winners. The Awards Committee will be composed of the top analysts and editors covering the mobile computing and wireless industries. The list of judges will be announced later this month, and will also be posted on the Web site.
