Metrowerks CodeWarrior to Support Development for New Pilot Connected Organizer
AUSTIN, Texas — January 29, 1996 — As announced today by the Palm Computing(R) Division of U.S. Robotics(R), Metrowerks(R) (TSE,ME:MWK) CodeWarrior(R) will support development for programming applications for the Palm OS, the operating system for the Pilot(TM) connected organizer.
Development for Pilot is done with a Macintosh(R) computer, a software developer's kit from U.S. Robotics, (available in May, 1996) and Metrowerks' CodeWarrior software development tools. Pilot was announced today at Demo '96 in Palm Springs, California.
About CodeWarrior
CodeWarrior is the leading Macintosh-hosted, 32-bit development tool on the market today. It allows development with C, C++ and Object Pascal programming languages. With CodeWarrior's Integrated Development Environment (IDE), applications can be written on the Macintosh and compiled for a variety of operating systems, including the Palm OS, Mac(TM) OS, Windows 95, Windows NT, Magic Cap(TM), and Be(TM) OS.
