CHICAGO — June 1, 1993 — Sharp Electronics Corp., a worldwide leader in hand-held productivity tools, announced Tuesday that it will soon release the first in a line of Personal Digital Assistants based on Apple Computer, Inc's Newton Intelligence.
Newton Intelligence will allow the products to assist users in the creation, organization and communication of their work. By actively adapting themselves to an individual's habits of usage and personalizing information, the units will greatly improve productivity by anticipating user needs.
