First Major New York Wireless Conference and Expo – Wireless World 2000 – Debuts October 3-5

NEW YORK — July 13, 2000 — Wireless World 2000 (WW2000) debuts October 3-5, 2000 with a Wireless Executive Conference and CEO Summit and Expo of the latest wireless network devices and software tools that will enable the next generation of wireless phones, PDA's, appliances and advanced embedded electronics.

With an unprecedented number of carriers, manufacturers, developers and newly established wireless ASP companies participating WW2000 reflects the result of the first massive wave of capital flowing into wireless technologies as investments shift from web only companies toward wireless or traditional web companies with wireless initiatives after April's dot-com shakeout on Wall Street.

The WW2000 Expo and Wireless Executive Conference runs from October 3-5, 2000 in the Grand Ballroom of the Landmark 1842 Regent Wall Street Hotel in the financial district and Metropolitan Pavilion, located in the heart of the Big Apple's five thousand company Silicon Alley dot-com district.

The WW2000 Wireless Executive Conference at the Metropolitan Pavilion features over a hundred keynotes, speakers and Exhibits in the spacious 30,000 square foot main floor, with a set limit of 100 exhibitions and 10,000 industry professionals to assure maximum exposure for all.

On October 5th WW2000 shifts venues to Wall Street, as hundreds of invited financial analysts and investment firms convene at the Regent Wall Street for the Wireless CEO Summit and Luncheon. The agenda, summit and conference keynotes and speakers — all major players in their respective wireless and financial industries — will be announced shortly.

In addition to the Wireless CEO Summit, Executive Conference and Expo WW2000 features numerous opportunities for the industry to network and promote their businesses, including the exclusive Executive Luncheon at the Regent Wall Street, cocktail receptions, two executive dinners and Silicon Alley Nights, a highly anticipated double decker bus tour of the Big Apple hotspots following the WW2000 Media Celebrity Gala.

Wireless World 2000 is produced by the Webcinema Tradeshow Group, the team behind the largest Silicon Alley Executive Conference in February, 2000 at the Regent Wall Street and New York Information Technology Center. The Conference featured 100 speakers with keynotes by William J. Rouhana Jr., CEO-Winstar communications, William Shrader — CEO — PSINet and Henry Blodget, Senior Internet Analyst, Merrill Lynch. Lead sponsors were the New York Times, Cidera and AT&T.
