Cutting Edge Software, Inc. Now Includes Quickchart as Permanent Feature of Award-Winning Quicksheet
DALLAS — February 2, 2000 — Cutting Edge Software, Inc. announced today that it is permanently incorporating its Quickchart graphing module as an inclusive feature of its award winning Quicksheet(TM) 4.1 spreadsheet software for Palm(R) Computing devices.
For $49.95, all new buyers of Quicksheet 4.1 will receive Quickchart at no additional charge. In addition, registered owners of Quicksheet 3.0 and later may upgrade to Quicksheet 4.1 and will receive Quickchart as part of the free upgrade. During a two-month test promotion, Quickchart was bundled with new purchases of Quicksheet at no charge. Prior to the promotion, Quickchart was priced at $19.95.

Quickchart adds an important charting element to Quicksheet and contains five charting types: line, pie, scatter, bar and stock charts. Users can chart multiple series on the same grid and can view graphs in gray scale or in patterns. Other features of Quickchart include easy chart customization, the capability to plot multiple series on the same grid and options that enable a chart's axis and legend to be displayed or hidden and data points to be connected. Further, Quickchart allows users to store charts within a Quicksheet spreadsheet and provides an unlimited number of views in which charts can be displayed, as well as a variety of other useful features.
Quicksheet is the most comprehensive and feature-rich spreadsheet application for the Palm Computing(R) line of handheld computers available on the market today.
