MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — September 21, 1993 — AT&T, EO Inc. and GO Corp. Tuesday announced the availability of MHS Link for GO Mail, the electronic mail and data transfer software that enables users of the AT&T EO Personal Communicator to access a wide variety of corporate electronic mail systems and networks.

"MHS Link for GO Mail is another key component of our mobile communications strategy," said Alain Rossmann, president and chief executive officer of EO. "With easy access to corporate e-mail systems, our customers can significantly enhance their business productivity while they are on the road."
Rick Bohdanowicz, marketing director of the Messaging Products Division for Novell Inc. said "This announcement is very significant for us since EO is the first Personal Communicator to integrate MHS into their platform. — Create customized messaging interfaces and mail enabled forms by copying a GO Mail "Send" button into any PenPoint document.
— Choose from a variety of PenPoint and desktop-compatible export formats for messages and attachments (e.g. ASCII or RTF for text, TIFF for graphics, .WKS or ,XLS for spreadsheets, .DBF or tab-delimited for databases, etc.)
— Schedule e-mail connections automatically any hour of the day.
— Connect directly to Novell's NetWare MHS and Global MHS mail servers, through gateways to popular e-mail systems like cc:mail, Microsoft Mail and CompuServe, and via protocol modules to SNADS for IBM AS/400 and mainframes, SMTP for UNIX and TCP/IP networks, and X.400 for OSI-based mail services.
EO Inc. and GO Corp. have also developed an AT&T Mail link, which connects PenPoint users to the worldwide AT&T EasyLink Services public e-mail system. The AT&T Mail link is currently bundled for free with all PenPoint devices.
MHS Link is now available directly from EO Inc. and GO Corp., and through EO authorized resellers.
