New TRGpro will Run Applications from Compact Flash

NEW YORK — June 27, 2000 — AutoCF(TM)and Palm OS 3.5 strengthen premier enterprise handheld computer

The newest version of the TRGPro(TM) Palm computer that runs applications directly from Compact Flash memory was unveiled today at PC Expo in New York.

The new feature — AutoCF(TM) — can be downloaded on TRGpro handheld computers beginning July 1, 2000. At the same time, the TRGpro will also come standard with Palm's latest operating system, Palm OS 3.5. AutoCF(TM) will be fully compatible with Palm OS 3.5. For current customers, downloads of both AutoCF(TM) and Palm OS 3.5 will be available at www.trgpro.com/support/update.html

"We're giving our customers non-volatile storage of large-volume programs and data on Compact Flash that is accessed seamlessly with Palm OS 3.5," said Mike Franklin, president and CEO of TRG Products. "This creates even greater speed, ease of use and efficiency for our TRGpro users. We're excited to deliver these latest innovations to our customers."

The TRGpro is the first Palm OS handheld computer that features the innovative CompactFlash (CF) technology. CompactFlash is the world's smallest removable device for both mass storage and input/output devices like modems and serial cards.

TRGpro and its leading storage and peripheral solutions are available at www.trgpro.com, and resellers and distributors listed at www.trgpro.com/product/resellers.html.

Recently awarded a PC Week (now eWeek) Labs Analyst's Choice award for top device in the enterprise handheld computing market, the TRGpro is the first handheld computer to incorporate the simplicity and rich application environment of the Palm Computing(TM) platform with industry standard expandability. By combining a Compact Flash expansion slot with the Palm OS, the TRGPro enables mobile professionals to access enterprise data normally confined to a desktop PC.

TRG Products, Inc., a privately owned company headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa has partnered with Palm Computing since 1997, and announced in October 1999 their agreement with Palm to be a licensee of the Palm OS. It is the only company to date to design, develop and deliver additional memory capacity and technology available on Palm platform products.

TRG and AutoCF are trademarks of TRG Products. Palm Computing is a registered trademark and Palm is a trademark of Palm Computing, Inc., 3Com Corporation or its subsidiaries.
