iBIZ Technology Reports Record Sales Month for February 2000
PHOENIX — March 2, 2000 — iBIZ Technology Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: IBIZ), a leading manufacturer of "small-footprint" computer systems and peripherals, announced today that they have set a new, one-month sales record. Sales revenue totaled $561,000.00, for February 2000, based on delivered products and services. This revenue includes sales of the company's accessories for Palm Devices, which also produced a single-month sales record. Total revenue reflects a substantial gain over previously reported sales activities from all facets of iBIZ Technology operations.
iBIZ reported revenue from sales of computer hardware products, accessories for handheld products produced by Palm Computing (Nasdaq: PALM), software sales, network technology and cabling services. Not included were sales related to the newly launched Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) products and Internet Service Provider (ISP) services, as customer connections are currently being completed. The company reported that revenue tracking from DSL and ISP services would begin in March 2000.
Ken Schilling, President and CEO of iBIZ Technology commented on the results, "Reaching and exceeding the half-million dollar sales level in one month is a significant endorsement of our plan to expand our product and service offerings. This sales figure represents a 300% increase over an average month from last year. We were able to vertically integrate our product lines, which will be further enhanced by new DSL and Internet services. Of particular note, was the increase in sales for our Palm Platinum Provider KeySync Keyboard and other Palm Device accessories."
