Pendragon Software Announces Powerful Database Connectivity for Palm Computing Devices
LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. — July 19, 1999 — Pendragon Software today announced an easy-to-use database product for the Palm Computing(R) Platform that can synchronize bidirectionally with Microsoft Access and ODBC data sources. Pendragon Forms(TM) 3.0 allows power users and systems integrators to create mobile data collection applications in minutes, and deploy those applications to workgroups with centralized control.
Thousands of companies worldwide already depend on Pendragon Forms for handheld data collection applications such as inspections, field service and medical patient tracking. Version 3.0 delivers enhanced synchronization with popular server databases such as SQL Server and Oracle, and supports the WaveSync(TM) synchronization server for improved manageability, security and scalability.
