ultraCaddie Software Selected As Exclusive Software for Palm Summer Promo
LOS ALTOS, Calif. — June 28, 1999 — ultraCaddie(TM) software from 3Wedge(TM) was selected by Palm Computing(R), Inc., a 3Com(R) company, as the only software to be bundled as part of Palm Computing's summer sales promotion.
"Put Par in the Palm of Your Hand," which starts today with major retailers, will be Palm Computing's national summer sales promotion and is aimed specifically at golfers. ultraCaddie software — the most comprehensive, easy-to-use golf application for the Palm Computing platform — is the world's first golfing software with an electronic caddie feature that recommends the best golf club for each shot based on player ability and current course conditions.

The promotion runs from June 28, 1999 through September 28, 1999. In store promotions include special packaging stickers and Point of Sale (POS) counter cards. The promotion is being highlighted on the Palm Computing Web site at http://www.palm.com.

Desktop computer requirements include Windows(R) 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0; hard disk space of 12MB to operate, 25MB to install; and a minimum of 16MB RAM (32MB RAM recommended), video capability of 256 colors at 800×600 resolution; and 150 MHz PC or higher (recommended).
