ZDNet to Feature Exclusive Download of Symantec’s Mobile WinFax for the Palm Computing Platform
SAN FRANCISCO — June 23, 1999 — ZDNet (NYSE: ZDZ) today announced a unique software download opportunity and companion contest available exclusively to ZDNet visitors. ZDNet's LaunchPad site ( http://www.zdlaunchpad.com ), part of the ZDNet Software Library, will host an exclusive demo download of Symantec's all-new Mobile WinFax software, adding to its extensive selection of free software downloads for Palm Computing devices.
Symantec created Mobile WinFax for the Palm Computing platform to enable users to manage their fax messages from their hand-held Palm devices. The exclusive 24-hour demo download of Mobile WinFax will give ZDNet visitors the chance to test the software for free before deciding to purchase.
