Handspring, Inc. Selects Public Relations Firm Switzer Communications, Inc.
CORTE MADERA, Calif. — April 6, 1999 — Switzer Communications, Inc., a public relations firm specializing in creative communications programs for technology-based companies, announced today that it will represent Handspring, Inc.
Handspring is the new company created by Jeff Hawkins and Donna Dubinsky, formerly of Palm Computing.
Having successfully established the handheld computing market with the launch of the PalmPilot, Hawkins and Dubinsky, along with Vice President of Development and Marketing Ed Colligan, have joined together in their own venture to create handheld computers for consumers.
