Fujitsu Personal Systems Appoints New Senior VP of Engineering and Customer Service

SANTA CLARA, Calif — May 7, 1999 — Fujitsu Personal Systems, Inc. (FPSI), the leader in the Windows pen tablet market, today announced that Mr. Robert Faulhaber has been promoted to senior vice president of engineering and customer service. In his new position, Mr. Faulhaber is now responsible for managing all aspects of hardware and software engineering as well as on-site technical support, help desk service and the repair of FPSI's pen computer products.

Mr. Faulhaber is a native of Buchanan, Michigan and graduated from the University of Minnesota in Duluth. Prior to Fujitsu, he held senior management positions at Saddlebrook Corp. and GRiD Systems. Mr. Faulhaber was most recently vice president of customer service and support for FPSI.
