Fourteen Worth editors, writers and reporters sought out the finest goods and services, relying on the expertise gained in three years of compiling and analyzing recommendations from readers. The list was expanded from 18 to 21 categories this year, adding cell phone service, wine, and game consoles. Before the winners were chosen, Worth read the reviews, quizzed the experts, and even tried out their finds when possible. As in previous years, a remarkable runner-up was selected in each category — and in each case Worth allowed quality, value, service, breadth of features, and ease of use to be the ultimate guides.

Worth, the monthly magazine edited for the dynamic wealth market, reaches active investors, business leaders and luxury connoisseurs with a median net worth of $1.2 million. The July/August issue will be available on newsstands July 2.
