Creative Digital Posts Handheld Systems Conference Final Agenda

SAN FRANCISCO — March 17, 1997 — Creative Digital Publishing Inc. is pleased to announce that the final agenda for the Handheld Systems Conference (formerly PDA Developers) has been posted to the company's web site at http://www.cdpubs.com.

Entering its third year, this is the only conference in the world that focuses exclusively on creating handheld hardware and software products. Taking place April 24-26 at the San Francisco Airport Hilton, the event includes a variety of keynotes, panels and sponsor presentations about handheld computing.

Keynotes are Andrew Seybold, noted industry analyst; Jean Belanger, chairman and CEO of software development tools creator Metrowerks; and IBM's Thomas Zimmerman, co-founder of the noted virtual reality company VPL Research and inventor of Personal Area Networks.

Event sponsors and supporters include Microsoft, Geoworks, Hewlett-Packard, Psion, General Magic, Apple Computer, Nokia Mobile Phones, Palm Computing, Research in Motion and Pen Computing Magazine.

In addition to several half-day tutorials on creating software for the most popular handheld platforms, there will be panels on Recognizers, Object Stores, Wireless Transports, Emerging Platforms, Smart Phones, Handheld Hardware, Integrating Applications with the Internet and the Desktop, The Business of Handheld Software, and Java Handhelds.

Sponsors will also present their latest thinking on handheld technologies, the marketplace and developer opportunities, in a series of special presentations. There will be 30-40 exhibitors, including the Windows CE Pavilion.

Conference registration is $ 350 until April 15. A block of rooms is reserved at the San Francisco Airport Hilton until March 23. Press are invited to register for the keynotes and the exhibits, and the exhibits are open to the public at no charge during the afternoons of April 25 and 26.
