Mobile Insights Announces Call for Nominations for Seventh Annual Mobility Awards
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — October 18, 2000 — Mobile Insights, the leading information source for the mobile computing and data communications markets, announced it is now taking nominations for the Year 2001 Mobility Awards. The Mobility Awards recognize the best products and services introduced in the year 2000 in the areas of mobile computing, data communications, and wireless. The awards will be presented during the seventh annual Mobile Insights conference for leaders in the mobile computing and data communications industry. The venue for the conference, to be held February 18 through 20, 2001, is the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak resort in Phoenix.

Nominations for the Mobility Awards are to be submitted directly on the Web via http://www.mobileinsights.com/mi2001awards.html. Once the ballot is finalized, it will be distributed to the Mobility Awards Committee, who will cast their votes for this year's winners. The Awards Committee will be composed of the top analysts and editors covering the mobile computing and wireless industries. The list of judges will be announced later this month, and will also be posted on the Web site.
