MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — January 7, 1999 — The Top Mobile Computing and Data Communications Products and Services of 1998 Nominated for the 1999 Mobility Awards Will be Voted on for the Fifth Annual Mobile Insights '99 Conference, Feb. 21-23, 1999

Today Mobile Insights announced the names of the 147 nominees for the 1999 Mobility Awards.

The 40 top analysts and members of the press who make up the Mobility Awards Committee will vote for the winners this year via an online ballot. The winners will be announced at the Mobility Awards Ceremony, Tuesday evening, Feb. 23, at the fifth annual Mobile Insights '99 conference. MI99 is a conference for leaders in the mobile computing and data communications industry and will be held at the luxurious Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa, Feb. 21-23, 1999, in Palm Springs, Calif.

"Mobility Awards have grown respect in the industry over the years and the ceremony at the MI conference has become a highly-anticipated event," said J.
